I’m not white: I am faded black. I am only this colour because my ancestors moved away from the equator.
We are all descended from the same black woman who lived 3 to 5 hundred thousand years ago.
We are all, cousins, 30 to 40 times removed.
There is only one race: the human race.
The first people to walk this Earth who could be called “human” were black: we are all descended from ancestors in Africa.
But: until we can convince everyone of all of the above, we need to keep on shouting that #BlackLivesMatter.
